Why choose us?
The ‘Advancing teaching capacity with the insight of GBA practices’ middle leaders training programme is a teacher professional development programme aiming to train subject heads to become facilitators in their subject panels. Participants will attend a series of workshops and consultation sessions, accompanied by peer lesson observation sessions and a one-day visit to schools in the GBA.
Target audience
Subject coordinators, curriculum development coordinators, academic affair coordinators and vice principals (academic)
*the project team recommends the participating schools to send subject coordinators from Chinese, English, Mathematics and one additional KLA (Science/PSHE)
Intended learning outcome
Participants will be able to...- understand the key concept of being entrepreneurial leaders
- design and apply adapted frameworks and principles of curriculum planning in advancing subject head capacity at schools
- explore the effective teaching capacity building techniques for teachers
*The training hours could be included in the training hours required by the Education Bureau for middle leaders to promote to higher ranks.
