The 'Advancing Subject Head Capacity with the Insight of GBA Practices' middle leaders training programme trained subject heads to become facilitators within their own subject panels.
The programme covered middle leadership, school-based curriculum and subject planning, entrepreneurial leadership, and innovative pedagogy, including the use of artificial intelligence in adaptive blended learning. Participants took part in a series of workshops, consultation sessions and peer lesson observations, with a one-day visit to schools in the Greater Bay Area giving them first-hand insight into practices beyond their own school context.
