The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Principals’ Forum is a flagship cross-border initiative co-organised by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong and the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau, delivered by the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Held at EdUHK’s Tai Po campus in December 2024, the latest forum gathered around 260 principals from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macao, and other Greater Bay Area cities. Under the theme “Cultivating Principal Leadership in the Context of a Leading Country in Education,” the event focused on enhancing school leadership and promoting regional collaboration. Since its launch in 2011—and with Macao joining in 2013—the forum has served as a key platform for knowledge exchange, professional dialogue, and leadership development among principals from kindergartens, primary, secondary, and special schools. It continues to strengthen educational partnerships and contribute to improving educational quality across the region.
