The programme is a comprehensive leadership training initiative commissioned by the Education Bureau and delivered by EdUHK in the 2024/25 school year. As part of the second year of the mandatory two-year training for newly-appointed principals (NAPs) in government, aided, caput, and DSS schools, the programme aims to strengthen leadership capabilities from a global perspective. Key components include a structured course on leadership and management strategies, leadership forums with experienced leaders, and visits to business and NGO sectors to explore cross-sector leadership practices. These experiences enable NAPs to draw real-world insights for application in school settings. The programme concludes with a reflective debriefing session, where participants collaborate in group presentations to consolidate learning and discuss implications for school development. Through interactive and practice-based learning, the programme equips NAPs to become visionary and effective leaders, contributing to sustainable school improvement across Hong Kong.
