This Course supports senior teachers preparing for promotion to leadership roles such as PGM, SEO, and SPSM. Recognised as fulfilling the Elective Part of the Education Bureau’s enhanced training requirements for promotion, the course targets serving SGMs, PSMs, and experienced teachers. Through lectures, workshops, and school visits, the course builds participants’ capabilities in school management, leadership, mentoring, and collegial support. Topics include school administration, curriculum leadership, student support, educational policy, and legal issues in schools. The course also promotes personal reflection, innovation, and engagement with contemporary developments, such as AI in education and cultural diversity. With contributions from EdUHK academics, experienced principals, and sector leaders, the programme fosters strategic thinking and cross-school networking, equipping future school administrators to lead effectively and respond to the evolving needs of Hong Kong’s education system.
